Microsoft's Frontier Industry Advisory team is at the center of this transformation, working directly with Capital Markets leaders to rewrite the playbook for industry value creation while staying grounded in business strategy, regulatory expectations, and customer outcomes. As a Frontier Industry Advisor - Capital Markets on the Americas Capital Markets Industry team, you will help Microsoft's most strategic Capital Markets customers define and execute AI-led transformation agendas. This role is responsible for originating industry-led business opportunities and executive conversations that connect measurable business outcomes to Microsoft cloud, data, AI, security, productivity, business applications, and partner capabilities. You will serve as the Capital Markets industry subject matter expert, engaging senior business decision makers to identify, generate, and nurture transformational opportunities across the front, middle, and back office. You will work deeply with select customers to help them move beyond isolated pilots toward governed, scalable AI adoption that delivers enterprise outcomes such as faster research and investment decisioning, improved advisor and trader productivity, reduced operational friction, stronger risk and compliance controls, more efficient post-trade processing, enhanced client experiences, resilient market infrastructure, and new digital asset and tokenization capabilities. You will also help develop Microsoft's Capital Markets frontier practice through thought leadership, targeted customer engagements, partner orchestration, and strategic planning with Microsoft account teams and industry leadership. Experience may include work with sell-side institutions, buy-side firms, financial market infrastructures, exchanges, clearing and settlement organizations, data and analytics providers, payments organizations, wealth and asset management firms, digital asset platforms, private equity firms, hedge funds, securities services, custody, risk, compliance, trading, research, or post-trade operations, with a focus on driving digital transformation through cloud, data, AI, Frontier AI, automation, security, and modern platform capabilities. Industry Advisory IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Find additional benefits and pay information here: Industry Advisory IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
