Parts Coordinator

The Parts Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for customers requiring replacement parts. at Komori America This position is responsible for receiving and processing customer parts orders, entering orders accurately into the order processing system, and conducting timely customer follow-up to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are representative of the position. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

• Receives and responds to incoming customer calls and inquiries regarding parts orders.
• Accurately enters customer orders into the order processing system.
• Conducts follow-up communication with customers regarding order status, availability, and delivery.
• Reads and interprets basic mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams to identify correct parts.
• Maintains accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions.
• Collaborates with internal departments to resolve order discrepancies and ensure timely fulfillment.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required, and up to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
