RN Cardiac OR RNFA

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RNFA to join our Cardiac OR team. This position offers a dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunities to assist in a variety of cardiac procedures.

The RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing, as well as independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs. Experience in first assisting in DaVinci robotic cases is preferred but not required. It is also preferred but not required to be able to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, which may include:

• CABGs
• Structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall)
• Minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Heart failure cases (e.g., Impella)

Heart transplants are also performed here, and experience in heart transplant is preferred.

• 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NYS RN license
• CNOR certification
• Telemetry experience

• RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
• Two (2) Years Experience - Required
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
• CNOR Certification - Required
• Telemetry - Required

36 or 48 hours per week, primarily weekdays 7 AM to 7 PM and 11 AM to 11 PM with on-call responsibilities per unit need.
