Description

Employee shall provide advanced aerospace engineering consulting services in support of Company's aircraft, missile, and aerospace vehicle design activities. Contractor will serve as a senior technical advisor for aerodynamics, flight mechanics, stability and control, performance analysis, multidisciplinary design, and engineering tool development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Aerodynamics and Flight Performance
  • Advise on aerodynamic design, performance analysis, vehicle sizing, configuration development, and trade studies.
  • Review aerodynamic predictions, computational analyses, test results, and design methodologies.
  • Assist in assessment of vehicle performance, mission effectiveness, and system-level design decisions.
  • Stability, Control, and Flight Mechanics
  • Provide guidance related to stability and control analysis, flight dynamics, guidance concepts, controllability assessments, and handling qualities.
  • Review mathematical models, simulations, and engineering tools used to evaluate vehicle behavior.
  • Vehicle Design and Optimization
  • Support conceptual and preliminary design activities for aerospace vehicles and subsystems.
  • Assist in multidisciplinary design optimization, requirements allocation, sizing methodologies, and engineering trade studies.
  • Provide recommendations regarding design approaches, risk reduction, and technical maturation strategies.
  • Engineering Methods and Tool Development
  • Assist in development, review, validation, and application of engineering tools, software, analytical methods, and workflows.
  • Provide recommendations regarding modeling approaches, computational methods, and technical best practices.
  • Customer and Technical Engagement
  • Participate in technical reviews, customer meetings, design reviews, working groups, and technical interchange meetings as requested by Company.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of customer interactions, proposals, presentations, and technical communications.
  • Mentorship and Technical Leadership
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to Company engineering personnel.
  • Support development of technical capabilities and engineering processes.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* 15-20 years of experience in aircraft, missile, and aerospace vehicles

* Experience advising companies on aerospace strategies
