In this role, you will be part of the HTS group, charged with screening novel chemical libraries and biologicals using cell-based high content imaging (HCI) assays, to identify candidate small molecule therapeutics for treating diverse neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's Disease. The primary responsibilities of this position are to execute end-point imaging assays, conduct quantitative analyses and generate consumable data. This position includes hands-on lab work, especially operating and maintaining automation, high-content imaging of cells, analyses and uploading imaging data, cell culture, and helping the team with running cell-based and biochemical drug screening assays. Additionally, the candidate will be required to perform appropriate experimental planning, data analysis, documentation of results and supply management required to complete all aspects of the experimental work.
