As an Aviation Records Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating files and databases associated with aviation records to ensure that associated documentation is complete and accurate. You will advise customers, management, customer service, and/or engineering, as appropriate, if discrepancies or problems are found with records. What you'll do:
- Audit historical records for airplane engines, parts or modules that are to be repaired or overhauled.
- Contact internal and external customers when discrepancies are found with aviation records and makes corrections as required.
- Completes documentation at induction to assist customer service personnel.
- Maintain and update files associated with aviation records; inputs and analyzes related data used in the customer database system.
- Reviews final internal documentation consisting of inspection checklists, routed order tags, run sheets, etc. to ensure that all documentation is complete and entries are made to ensure configuration control.
- Complete, audits, and sign completed records on engines, turbine rotors, compressor rotors, and other components ensuring they are accurate for release to service.
- Inform management, customer service, and/or engineers of potentially controversial findings, issues, or problems with aviation records.
- Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
- Carries out other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role.
- 2+ years of experience operating manuals and technical data.
- 2+ years of experience using specialized software/equipment to review engine historical records.
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
- Experience managing airplane engine records
