RDO Equipment Co. in Portland belongs to our Vermeer division, focused on providing a variety of Vermeer products, parts and services to customers around the U.S. RDO's Vermeer division includes eight locations. Portland is a crucial part of this network, which stretches from California to Minnesota. What You Will Do:



  • Be the engine behind the sales team: Keep the sales process moving from quote to close by supporting Sales Managers and Sales Professionals every step of the way - paperwork, tracking, followups and all.
  • Own the details (and nail them): Prepare, review, and manage sales documentation, finance paperwork, warranties, and system updates to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a smooth customer experience.
  • Coordinate equipment from order to delivery: Help locate equipment and attachments, place inventory orders, track deliveries, coordinate logistics, and partner with the yard and service teams to keep everything flowing.
  • Be the goto for systems and reporting: Use company systems to accurately record sales activity, monitor reports, clear general ledger items, and support monthly inventory processes.
  • Support financing and manufacturer programs: Review finance documents before they go to customers and stay up to speed on manufacturer programs, incentives, and extended warranty offerings.
  • Partner across the operation: Work closely with Sales, Service, Parts, Equipment Coordinators, and Yard teams to ensure deals move efficiently and customers are taken care of.

  • Excellent communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication - whether supporting the sales team or assisting customers.
  • Comfort with technology and systems: Strong computer skills and the ability to learn dealership and manufacturer systems quickly.
  • Teamfocused mindset: Able to work independently while also collaborating across departments.
  • Customerfirst mentality: You understand that internal accuracy drives external satisfaction.
  • Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
