About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while supporting innovative healthcare technology? We are seeking a Customer Service Support Operator to join a growing customer operations team supporting a leading medical technology organization.

In this role, you'll be responsible for customer order entry, order management, and providing outstanding customer support. You'll process orders using SAP, manage customer cases in Salesforce, respond to customer emails and phone inquiries, and collaborate with internal sales teams to resolve pricing and order-related questions.

This is a fully remote opportunity, with preference given to candidates located in the Austin, TX area, though qualified applicants throughout the United States are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do
  • Process incoming customer orders, inquiries, and service requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage customer orders from entry through completion using SAP.
  • Maintain customer records and documentation within company systems.
  • Respond professionally to customer emails and phone calls.
  • Provide first-level customer support by resolving order and product-related questions.
  • Partner with internal sales teams to clarify pricing, order status, and customer inquiries.
  • Investigate and help resolve commercial or technical issues affecting customer orders.
  • Support customers throughout the pre-sale and post-sale process.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely communication and problem resolution.
  • Document customer interactions, transactions, comments, and resolutions.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous customer service and/or order management experience.
  • Experience processing customer orders, forms, and service requests.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software systems and business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using SAP (strongly preferred).
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience working within the medical device industry.
  • Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with medical device products.
  • Experience supporting customers primarily through phone and email communication.
What to Expect
  • Comprehensive onboarding and training.
  • Initial responsibilities focused on domestic order processing and customer support.
  • Low daily call volume (approximately five customer calls per representative).
  • Communication is primarily handled through email and phone.
  • Two-step interview process with leadership (additional interview may be required if needed).
Additional Information
  • Fully Remote Position
  • Standard Monday-Friday Schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
  • Computer and system access will be provided.
  • Background check required upon offer of employment.
  • Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension and possible long-term opportunities based on business needs and performance.
