The Software Engineer is a key contributor to the engineering team, supporting software development, maintenance, testing, and product enhancement activities. This role increases development capacity, helps accelerate product delivery, and serves as a foundation for developing future technical leaders within the organization.



What You'll Do Day-To-Day

* Utilizes test-driven development and design techniques to implement unit tests for assigned feature areas or software components.
* Assists product owners with establishing clearly defined requirements and developing user stories.
* Assists product owners with composing technical details for statements of work.
* Recognizes classes of problems and derive solutions.
* Contributes to the formation of engineering standards and software development best practices.



What You'll Bring

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 0 years is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
* Basic knowledge of programming concepts and languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar), with the ability to work from detailed specifications. Understanding of software testing processes, including test case review, test witnessing, and certification. Knowledge of DevOps culture, practices and
tools.
* Basic knowledge of managing and maintaining third-party application installations and configurations.
* Ability to identify and resolve fundamental software or system issues.
* Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed technical data.
* Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience a plus.



Total Rewards Package

    Salary: $66,000 - $86,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
