Salary: $50-54 Hourly W2, hourly, with benefits
Partner with Aquent to support a globally recognized leader in the home furnishings and retail sector. This organization is celebrated for its commitment to quality and design, shaping inspiring physical retail environments that delight customers worldwide. As a pivotal member of a dynamic team, you will coordinate complex design projects that transform physical environments and create memorable experiences for customers globally. This is an exciting contract opportunity where your organizational prowess and eye for detail will directly impact the success of new store openings, remodels, and global retail initiatives for a world-renowned brand. What You'll Do
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of retail store development projects from early site selection through construction and grand opening.
- Coordinate multiple retail store development projects simultaneously.
- Support Design Managers throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Prepare design development packages for executive approval.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, Real Estate, Construction, and Operations teams.
- Review project information for accuracy and completeness.
- Track project schedules, approvals, and milestones.
- Maintain project documentation including drawings, shop drawings, renderings, construction photos, and samples.
- Prepare executive presentation materials.
- Monitor construction progress and communicate project updates.
- Help ensure projects remain organized and on schedule.
What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who enjoys organization as much as design. Qualified candidates typically have experience with:
- Retail, commercial, hospitality, workplace, or architectural design projects.
- Coordinating multiple design or construction projects simultaneously.
- Working with architects, consultants, contractors, or construction teams.
- Construction documents, design development, or project coordination.
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Retail store design experience.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- AutoCAD.
- Revit.
- SketchUp.
- Bluebeam.
- Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management degree.
- Experience supporting new construction or remodeling projects.
