Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution across R&D, IST, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams.
  • Serve as the primary program interface to the customer TPM, internal leadership, and engineering organizations.
  • Ensure alignment on requirements, priorities, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and required milestones.
  • Drive accountability to program milestones, customer commitments, and business objectives.

Scheduling, Risk & Documentation

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously update the integrated master schedule, critical path, dependencies, and resource plan.
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register including risk identification, owners, mitigation plans, and closure timelines.
  • Ensure all program documentation (SOW deliverables, plans, reports, action logs) is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Coordinate engineering development, integration, validation, manufacturing readiness, and customer deployment activities.

Reporting & Communication

  • Deliver weekly internal status updates summarizing progress, risks, issues, decisions, and next steps.
  • Provide monthly program reports for leadership and customer, highlighting:
    • Milestone achievement and schedule performance
    • Critical path status and forecasted delivery dates
    • Key accomplishments and upcoming priorities
    • Risk and issue summaries with mitigation and closure plans
  • Develop executive-ready dashboards, presentations, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Ensure all program documentation, action logs, deliverables, and decisions are current and accessible.
  • Communicate issues clearly with root causes, impacts, and recovery plans.

Customer Engagement

  • Partner closely with customer TPMs to clarify requirements, review progress, manage expectations, and address escalations.
  • Facilitate reviews, milestone checkpoints, demonstrations, and acceptance activities throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
  • Build trusted customer relationships through proactive communication and predictable program execution.
  • Effectively manage customer expectations while balancing technical, schedule, and resource constraints.
  • Ensure commitments to customers are realistic, documented, and consistently met.

Process & Governance

  • Establish and maintain program governance, including milestone reviews, risk management, issue escalation, and change control processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of program management processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Promote best practices for execution consistency across multiple customer programs.
  • Support portfolio planning, resource prioritization, and cross-program coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
    • 5-8+ years in technical program management or engineering leadership.
    • Demonstrated success leading complex hardware, software, or integrated system development programs.
    • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, system integration, validation, and manufacturing readiness.
    • Strong risk management and problemsolving skills.
    • Experience coordinating across R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain.
    • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and aggressive schedules.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, or similar program management tools.
    • PMP certification or equivalent.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong customer-facing leadership experience, including executive-level communication and escalation management.
    • Experience in high-technology industries (e.g., wireless, satellite, networking, test & measurement).
    • Experience leading complex hardware/software customer programs.
    • Excellent communication and executivelevel reporting skills.

    Success Measures

    • On-time delivery of customer milestones, contractual commitments, and program deliverables.
    • Clear, consistent documentation, including timely program reporting.
    • Effective management of risks, issues, scope changes, and resource constraints.
    • Strong crossfunctional alignment and customer satisfaction.
    • Predictable, nosurprise program execution.

Santa Rosa, CA Pay Range: MIN $149,850.00 - MAX $249,750.00

Loveland, CO Pay Range: MIN $138,750.00 - MAX $231,250.00

Colorado Springs, CO Pay Range: MIN $138,750.00 - MAX $231,250.00

This position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations.
