Our Tour Coordinators are ambassadors of Tesla and our mission, enthusiastically educating audiences about our history, manufacturing processes, industry, and revolutionary products. We're looking for a bright, energetic, and professional team player to represent Tesla in the highest regard. This position is expected to create an exceptional visitor experience at our Giga, LFP, and Energy factories by delivering exceptional tours, supporting engagement initiatives that enhance factory culture and drive employee excellence, and advancing Tesla's mission to build a world of amazing abundance.
What You'll Do
- Visitor Experience & Education: Deliver brand-aligned factory tours that educate visitors on Tesla products, mission, and manufacturing process through authentic engagement and relationship-building
- Tour Planning, Scheduling & Logistics: Plan and coordinate tours for diverse groups-including Tesla employee family and friends, customers, VIPs, internal teams, and educators-while managing all logistics such as check-in, safety briefings, and accessibility accommodations.
- Curate and Design Tour Content: Develop, curate, and refine engaging tour content, ensuring materials remain accurate, on-brand, and reflective of current Giga, LFP, and Energy factory operations
- Engagement & Culture: Support the Site Programs team by assisting with executing events and engagement initiatives
- Feedback & Metrics: Track satisfaction scores, analyze post-tour feedback, and report program impact to leadership to drive continuous improvement
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Workplace, Catering, Community Engagement, Transportation, Subject Matter Experts, Security, and Reception teams to coordinate logistical support for Giga, LFP, and Energy factory tours
- Scheduling System Management: Maintain and manage the tour booking/scheduling platform, including handling last-minute changes, cancellations, or accommodation requests
What You'll Bring
- Confidence speaking in front of large groups and interfacing with Tesla leadership, which may include speaking to high-value clients and visitors
- Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hours
- Significant work experience in customer service preferred
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable driving a tram or passenger van in/around a factory environment while simultaneously articulating unique production processes
- Ability to work comfortably in a dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Able to work nights or weekends on occasion
