AllianceBernstein L.P. seeks Associate Officer Risk Analyst in Nashville, TN to lead the monitoring of SLA and ensure timely delivery of standard and ad-hoc analytics reports. Design and manage controls to ensure risks are appropriately mitigated and managed. Independently implement and maintain a robust Data Quality Controls (QCs) framework to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all risk reports using SQL and Excel. Service Investment Risk, Marketing, and Sales teams by analyzing and reporting on risk exposures using a variety of performance tools, including Barra Portfolio Manager and RiskMetrics to build solutions. Review and deliver monthly VaR, Risk Decomposition and other ad-hoc reports based on client’s analytical needs and requirements. Onboard new investment strategies on Risk reporting platforms. Work with vendors and custodians to improve the portfolio modelling of different asset classes and create new reports on tool such as MSCI Risk Metrics and Barra Applications. Liaise with the Investment Risk team to identify and resolve Funds that breach the Relative Regulatory VaR. Lead discussions with IT teams to design the appropriate Quality Control framework and participate in UAT environment. Independently perform Business Analysis and create Business Requirement documents for new projects. Leading new funds onboarding team to create new investment strategies on Risk reporting platforms. Continuously review and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, including opportunities to automate processes using SQL and Excel. Conduct comprehensive training sessions for the new hires and AB India team on the implementation of Quality Control in portfolio analysis and risk reporting processes. Lead team meetings on the adequacy of risk controls and documentation for compliance and operational Risk. Independently lead and manage Projects. Collaborate with Senior Managers to create workflows for newly launched funds.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Financial Risk Management, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
