SUMMARY: Responsible for performing the maintenance on complex modifications, charge offs, and other complex items to commercial loans. Collaborates with leaders and stakeholders and guides change for scalability and automation. Assists in maintaining policies, SOX control documentation, procedures, processes and job aids for assigned areas. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with training new and existing team members on various tasks, as needed. Handles day to day duties and organizes, prioritizes and assigns duties within the team. Acts as an escalation point for the team and keeps supervisors informed of any issues. Promotes team work and sets examples with a positive attitude, promotes superior customer service, and treats people fairly and with respect. Trains and assists with the development of Associate and Specialist level staff. Maintains communication via email and phone with Mortgage Warehouse Lenders, Floor Plan Dealers and various dealerships and customers throughout the workday. Downloads, saves and distributes weekly Dealer Floor Pan reports to lenders. Distributes daily and monthly Dealer Floor Plan and warehouse lending reports to designated departments and lenders. Updates Dealer Floor Plan software with monthly inventory inspection data and assess any fees. Assesses annual loan fees in Dealer Floor Plan software and send customer notification of fees. Collects and posts fees. Updates bank's core system for Dealer Floor Plan account billing information per dealer floor plan software. Maintains interest rates for both warehouse and dealer floor plan loans in the lending software. Gains access to Dealer Floor Plan software to add new dealer floor plan customers to the system, as well as maintain existing customers. Assists customers with unlocking and creating new dealer portal passwords. Monitors Dealer Floor Plan and Mortgage Warehouse loan transactions and notifies the customer of returned payments. Researches and resolves complex issues encountered by daily warehouse transactions and dealer floor plan transactions. Researches outages on Dealer Floor Plan in process reconciliations and makes corrections. Processes and approves incoming and outgoing wires daily Approves FTM transactions within core banking system for online transactions. Adapts to changing regulatory requirements Assists with bank data conversions including gathering information from converting bank to assist with design of conversion matrices; gathering information from converting bank to assist in designing or modifying procedures; reviewing test and live conversion data for accuracy; ensuring that the necessary post conversion activities are carried out timely and accurately Serves as an agent of change, finding new opportunities to serve our clients and bring new capabilities to the market. Assists with training and guidance to team members with respect to understanding, processing and managing the workload. Assists in the development and implementation of operational plans, policies, procedures, and goals that further scalability, automation and efficiency. Collaborates with key leaders and stakeholders and guides change for scalability and automation. Fosters strong relationships with key leaders and stakeholders across the bank to ensure collaboration and effective communication with other teams. Attends meetings and partnership engagements with other business lines of the bank. Assists in maintaining policies, SOX control documentation, risk assessments and other controls around all assigned areas. Assists with resolving complex issues within the areas of responsibility. Assists with the process flow documentation for assigned systems and areas of responsibility and pursues areas of improvement. Assists in maintaining the repository of procedures, processes, job aids and other critical information for functional areas. Assists in driving the effective use of technology within functional areas. Assists in managing to defined customer service level expectations and key vendor processing timelines. Collaborates with business areas on new initiatives, processes or products and assists with implementation within functional areas. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Ability to speak effectively to customers and employees of organization. Accounting skills including understanding of debit and credit functions. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude. Possess clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills to effectively express thoughts, ideas and concepts to management, bank employees and bank customers in a collaborative and solutions-oriented manner. Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management, the branch network, other departments and vendors. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively to meet critical deadlines under difficult time restraints. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and ability to learn various applications. Ability to learn various Banking Software programs. Associates degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years in banking, preferably in loans or operations required. Leadership skills required. | |
