Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your system integration and validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates. You'll define and drive the best strategy to integrate all subsystems and validate the transport system requirements, ensuring the delivery of a high-performing, safe, and compliant transport system. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, operations, maintenance, and client representatives), mentor and develop SI&V engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives-and much more. We'll look to you for:
Defining and managing the overall System Integration & Validation (I&V) strategy in collaboration with project leadership.
Optimizing I&V execution by leveraging Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), mock-ups, type tests, offshore interface and factory integration testing, test track activities, software integration platforms, and on-site testing and commissioning.
Deploying and maintaining SI&V processes aligned with company standards and project requirements.
Defining validation methods for each requirement in collaboration with Requirement Managers and System Engineering teams.
Coordinating validation activities across all subsystems, including subcontractors and external partners.
Managing the I&V lifecycle timeline and ensuring timely collection of validation evidence.
Executing functional, integration, and system-level tests according to approved test plans.
Co-leading the testing program with the System Testing Manager to ensure optimal sequencing of test phases and avoidance of redundant validation demonstrations.
Ensuring compliance with contractual specifications, industry standards, safety requirements, and supporting system certification and homologation.
Mentoring and developing SI&V and T&C engineers while fostering cross-functional collaboration and technical excellence.

Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience or understanding of testing and commissioning in rail or transportation systems (~5 years of hands-on experience preferred).
Knowledge of railway systems, electrical power distribution systems, signaling, communication & SCADA systems, and rolling stock systems.
Familiarity with validation and verification processes, as well as requirement management tools like DOORS, EWM, ETM, and automated tools.
A certification or communication skill: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong system-level thinking and integration expertise.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Willingness to travel for short or long-term missions across locations or countries.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Rigor, attention to detail, and ability to operate within strict quality processes.
