We seek a Mental Health Clinic Therapistto join our Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUCC) team inPhiladelphia, Pa.This posting isFull-time, First Shift (Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm EST).

The hourly rate is $41.22.

We are a Behavioral Health Urgent Care/Walk-In Center for adults needingnon-crisissame-day care in Philadelphia. Consider it "urgent care" for individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral health concerns. Individuals will participate in resolution-focused services and aftercare planning to prepare for long-term recovery and connection to ongoing care. We serve individuals regardless of income or insurance status. Our services do not replace the need for ongoing mental health care; rather, we aim to reduce avoidable visits to crisis centers and emergency rooms by helping people get the mental health care they need when they need it.

Position Details

The clinically licensed Master's level mental health and/or substance use professional will provide high quality urgent behavioral health services. The position conducts assessments, delivers evidence based interventions, provides brief resolution focused therapy, and actively participates in care coordination to support individuals experiencing urgent behavioral health challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional
    Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges,
    particularly in crisis, urgent, or other similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based and resolution focused interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with individuals and
    colleagues.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a person-centered approach in delivering behavioral health urgent
    care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
