Overview

What You Will Do

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead daily shop floor operations to ensure the timely and accurate assembly of control panels and related products. You will supervise a team of technicians and helpers, manage workload assignments, and maintain a high standard of quality, safety, and productivity.

A Typical Day at Prime Controls

    Supervise day-to-day production activities and personnel across assigned work areas
  • Assign job tasks based on production schedule and priorities
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with engineering drawings, specs, and quality standards
  • Monitor performance, conduct coaching, and support employee development
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and housekeeping standards
  • Troubleshoot build issues and escalate technical questions to Engineering or Quality as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity and workflow
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate material flow, changes, and deadlines

What You Will Bring

The Basic

  • 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with hand tools, assembly practices, and material staging

The Preferred

  • Associate degree or technical training in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Technology
  • Experience with UL 508A standards and industrial panel assembly
  • Proficiency with ERP or production tracking systems

Work Environment & Physical Demands (Text Only)
