As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Support cash handling, high-value asset movement, and other sensitive operations with a visible armed presence and timely communication with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license, as required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
