This role is central to Visa's mission to drive consumer payments growth, accelerate product modernization, and expand access to next-generation payment solutions across the region.

The ideal candidate is a senior product leader with a strong consulting mindset, capable of structuring complex problems, developing data-driven strategies, and influencing senior stakeholders across markets. You will define the long-term vision for the portfolio, translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, and ensure sustained business impact.

Product Leadership & Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for Credit, Debit, Pre-Paid, and New Products & Solutions across LAC.

  • Define and drive a multi-year strategic roadmap that strengthens Visa's market position, accelerates growth, and aligns with regional and global priorities.

  • Lead strategy formulation across key dimensions: value proposition, segmentation, pricing, lifecycle management, and competitive positioning.

  • Integrate modernization initiatives across products, including digital credentials, account-based payments, and value-added services.

Strategy & Consulting-Led Problem Solving

  • Apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving to diagnose business challenges, identify growth opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions.

  • Partner with market teams to shape strategic decisions around portfolio positioning, client segmentation, pricing strategies, and investment priorities.

  • Develop executive-level strategic materials (e.g., business cases, memos, portfolio reviews) to support senior leadership decision-making.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to regional and market leadership, bringing insights on market trends, competitive dynamics, and performance optimization.

Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Translate strategy into clear execution plans, ensuring disciplined delivery through product lifecycle management (PLM), go-to-market readiness, and cross-functional alignment.

  • Drive strong governance across the portfolio, including prioritization frameworks, product readiness standards, and launch excellence.

  • Ensure accountability through clear ownership, milestones, and performance tracking.

Portfolio & Performance Management

  • Own full product P&Ls, ensuring visibility into revenue, cost drivers, margins, and long-term value creation.

  • Define and track KPIs to monitor portfolio health, growth, and client adoption.

  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously optimize portfolio performance and inform strategic adjustments.

Market Engagement & Growth Strategy

  • Develop tailored go-to-market strategies aligned to market maturity, regulatory environments, and client needs.

  • Identify, prioritize, and scale key growth levers, including new use cases, partnerships, and ecosystem opportunities.

  • Lead cross-market portfolio reviews to unlock distribution opportunities, activate dormant portfolios, and accelerate adoption.

Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership

  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Client Services, Sales, Risk, Finance, Marketing, and Global Product organizations.

  • Serve as the central owner of product strategy, ensuring alignment and execution against a unified vision.

  • Operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment, driving clarity, accountability, and results.

Innovation & New Product Development

  • Champion the design and commercialization of new product constructs for LAC, grounded in strong strategic rationale and business cases.

  • Identify and assess emerging technologies, ecosystem partnerships, and new payment models to support long-term growth.

  • Ensure new product initiatives are scalable, commercially viable, and aligned with Visa's strategic priorities.

  • Continuous Improvement & Strategic Foresight

  • Stay ahead of customer needs, regulatory changes, competitive dynamics, and technology trends.

  • Continuously refine the portfolio strategy and operating model to sustain competitive advantage and accelerate growth.
