Yard Hostler, Remanufacturing

• Responsible for using an industrial tractor to move trailers as instructed within the yard to facilitate shipping and receiving functions. Will rely on instructions and pre-established procedures to perform daily job tasks
• Responsibilities include but not limited to hooking and unhooking trailers, moving trailers in and out of doors, securing, and sealing outbound trailer doors. Will ensure all trailers are loaded or empty
• Will assist drivers who have general inquiries such as yard locations, or other questions and/or issues. Will represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
• Responsible for the daily inspection of industrial truck, and trailers, including safety checks while adhering to applicable regulations and procedures. Documents and reports all maintenance and safety issues
• Responsible for completing daily yard checks. All documentation will be completed and submitted in a timely manner

• Minimum of 1-year tractor/trailer experience (3 axle tractor, 53' trailer)
• Must be able to read at a distance close to the eyes, and at arm's length, with or without correction. Driving requires distance vision. Constant alertness while driving
• Valid driver's license with Class A CDL
• Excellent work ethic & team player - levelheaded, detail-oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer-focused
