As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a busy public transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter while maintaining a visible armed presence that may help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and/or assist with screening and credential checks when required.
• Work in varying environments and conditions while remaining prepared to support local post orders and armed patrol responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton qualifications are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
