Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Specialist (Full Time, M-F)

Shields Manufacturing in Tualatin, Oregon is an industry leader and Value-Add, climate-controlled production facility specializing in CNC machining and complex mechanical/optical/laser assembly including clean-room environments. Our business not only provides manufacturing expertise for OEM's with low volume/high mix needs, we also provide higher volume opportunities with our expanding cell system capability.

• Deliver finished goods to customer sites via delivery truck.
• Checks material received against vendor invoices, orders
• Receives and prepares incoming material for input into inventory.
• Verifies quantity and condition of material.
• Maintains inventory count and resolves discrepancies.
• Delivers material to work centers.
• Compare and verify identifying information (counts, weights) against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
• Operate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License

Education/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and an ERP / MPR computer system.
• Detail orientated, with exceptional organizational skills
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify problems, develop and evaluate options, and recommend solutions
