High School diploma or equivalent and five years experience.

Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots a variety of electrical equipment and systems. Also conducts preventive and general maintenance.

Lift 50 lbs and work outside in various climate conditions.

Serve as primary electrician for Savannah River Ecology Lab maintenance department.

Work with general maintenance mechanics completing preventive maintenance requirements as needed.

Work with contractors ( HVAC, electrical, construction) to help facilitate their work for our facility and Interface with Savannah River Site contractors as needed on behalf of our facility.

Ensure all work adheres to Savannah River Site DOE/ NNSA standards. Make urgent or unplanned supplies purchases for repairs.
