Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking incumbent and external qualified candidates to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyene Mountain Complex (NCMC) - Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III (NISSC III). Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, withan anticipateddecision expected mid to late 2026. Qualified candidates will helpoperate, maintain, and sustain critical national mission systems to deliver resilient strategic threat warning and space capabilities as part of a world-wide architecture, providing strategic warning that our nation depends on during a conflict. This program willprovidean opportunity to exploit the capabilities inherent in our diverse national systems to better meet the needs of the national command authority and warfighters to detect, track, and respond to strategic threats through 2030 and beyond The Property/IT Asset Manager will support systems engineering, integration, sustainment engineering, and digital engineering activities supporting mission-critical NORAD and USSPACECOM operations within the Cheyenne Mountain Complex environment. This role will support requirements analysis, system integration, technical baseline management, modernization, testing, sustainment, and operational engineering efforts across complex space, missile warning, and command-and-control systems. The ideal candidate will possess experience supporting complex DoD programs in operational or classified environments while collaborating across software, cybersecurity, integration, and operations teams to improve system reliability, mission readiness, and overall operational effectiveness throughout the program lifecycle. Responsibilities:
Ensures assets are identified, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle to include managing cost, schedule, performance objectives, and metrics for the life cycle of the system.
- Ensures the accuracy and completeness of asset data and processes to maintain the data.
- Ensures asset records are maintained through the entire asset lifecycle.
- Supports the total asset visibility (TAV), logistics, maintenance, and warranty of assets.
- Supports implementation and management of a total asset visibility solution/tool to improve asset visibility and asset data management.
- Ensures configuration management database (CMDB) accuracy and compliance with asset management processes.
- Manages the service level agreement (SLA) measurement and reporting requirements for the asset management practice area, including SLAs on hardware and CMDB accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Documents processes, procedures, and controls to enable effective asset management practice.
- Supports audits to provide health checks against existing data to ensure the CMDB and automated discovery databases/workflows are consistent with the physical state of all assets and configuration items in the IT environment and vice versa.
- Administers property control program activities to ensure continual accountability of company, government, or associate contractor property and assets in accordance with applicable corporate policy or government regulations.
- Prepares periodic and special purpose reports related to such matters as taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.
- Prepares asset reporting and deliverable requirements to include creating and maintaining asset dashboards, spreadsheets, and websites as required.
- Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.
- Oversee property transfers and documents transfers as required.
- Presents continual service improvement ideas and recommendations for action.
- Arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required materials and coordinates with program, corporate Peraton, government and vendors to provide updated inventory records.
- Identifies excess government property by working with Corporate Property, Contract Administrators and Program Managers during and after contract completion to return or dispose of the equipment.
- Coordinates the training of program employees on the Government Property Control System procedures and related FAR requirements.
- Prepare draft procedure changes to implement FAR/DFARS requirements or locally directed management changes, in compliance with Peraton's Corporate Procedures. Performs self-assessment program audits of compliance to published procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements. Provides support for Peraton internal self-assessments.
- Attend program and customer meetings as required to present status of IT/property management.
- Acts as the liaison between the program and Corporate Property for enterprise Property Management System Analysis (PMSA).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required, ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI accessrequired
- 2+ years experince of asset management experience in program organizations responsible for delivering IT services of similar scope and complexity.
- Degree in business administration, business management, information systems, information technology, engineering, or equivalent experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience with IT asset management, asset management databases (e.g., asset database, CMDB), and other ITSM tools, solutions, software.
- ITIL v3 and/or ITIL 4 Foundation to align with the latest version of DESMF or ability to obtain.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting NISSC I/II, ITW/AA, NORAD, USNORTHCOM, USSPACECOM, or Cheyenne Mountain Complex programs
- Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements.
- Certified TBM Executive (CTBME) or ability to obtain.
- Familiarity with the Agile development process
- Prior experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence to track and manage projects.
- Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS)

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
