Confidential POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The Boiler Mechanic/Plumber maintains, repairs, and installs boilers (steam and hot water) and all associated components. Also responsible for chemical treatment. Assemble, install, and repair pipe, fittings, and fixtures of hot and cold water and drainage systems. May work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and/or carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces, depending on specific work site. May be periodically exposed to confined spaces, hot and cold temperatures, and inclement weather conditions, or other work conditions determined by nature of work.
