Description
The Wealth Management Reporting & Communications Analyst supports the Wealth Management & Advisory Services (WMAS) division by developing, maintaining, and delivering operational, financial, and risk-related reporting, while leading and supporting communication initiatives across the division. This role serves as a liaison between WMAS business lines, leadership, marketing, and technology partners to ensure accurate data reporting, effective communication strategies, and alignment with WMAS strategic and operational objectives. The Analyst contributes to reporting automation, business line communications, and audit-ready documentation to support decision-making, client engagement, and regulatory compliance. Essential Functions:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance routine and ad hoc WMAS reports, dashboards, and analytics, including any digitization and automation efforts of reporting workflows, dashboards, and communication platforms.
- Lead or support business line development of reporting solutions by clearly defining and documenting data sources, data use, and functional requirements.
- Analyze trends, performance metrics, and variances and collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into well-defined reports and dashboards and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reporting platforms.
- Achieve business goals by fostering innovation and supporting the evaluation, deployment, and ongoing management of current and future reporting and communication solutions.
- Assist in establishing and developing implementation methodologies to successfully deploy reporting and communication solutions, and execution of the implementation methodologies.
- Manage, prioritize, and support WMAS communications including:
- com/WMAS publishing (BLOG, financial planning updates, and client communications)
- Portfolio Management Commentary, Quarterly Updates, and Financial Planning updates
- Manage internal intranet pages related to sales, pipeline, referral activity and oversee reporting of such activities.
- Act as communication liaison between WMAS business lines and Marketing to coordinate messaging and deliverables.
- Provide lead support on development projects requiring marketing coordination (direct mail, online communications, and digital content), ensuring timelines, cost controls, and quality standards are met.
- Serve as lead support for officer biography content, including review, updates, and publication across print and digital platforms.
- Support internal control processes by ensuring reporting and communications align with WMAS policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide professional copywriting, editing, and proofreading to ensure quality, clarity, and accuracy of client-facing and internal communications.
- Collaborate with IT, vendors, and business teams to resolve data issues and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Support training efforts, including development of training materials and coordination of training sessions for business users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Communications, Data Analytics, or related field or related equivalent professional experience.
- Handles pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to multi task and manage interruptions with multiple projects requiring copy review.
- Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service to both internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated proficiency with various applications and tools, including the Microsoft Office suite of products, spreadsheets, word processing, reporting and visualization tools (Power BI preferred), email, networking, Internet applications and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and OneNote.
- Strong system and process analysis skills, and the ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and recommend positive courses of action.
- Strong detail orientation with high level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task, managing interruptions with multiple projects.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative; ability to work well both independently and with others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with and work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within and outside the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
- Experience with content management, publishing platforms, or marketing tools a plus
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, correspondence abilities, etc.
Pay Range: WMAS Reporting & Communications Analyst I: $24.45 - $36.71 per hour WMAS Reporting & Communications Analyst II: $26.63 - $39.94 per hour The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, Washington. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
