Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Jacksonville location. Working Monday - Friday 4AM- 12:30 PM.
What You Will Do:
As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet assets to maximize uptime and performance. This role requires independent troubleshooting, repair ownership and rapid issue resolution skills and experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across fleet, to include diesel vehicles, Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Equipment, Vans and other vehicles associated with our Fleet
- Trouble shoot:
- Electrical Systems
- Engine performance issues
- Hydraulic and fuel systems
- Execute preventative maintenance in alignment with DOT and company standards
- Respond to roadside breakdowns (when applicable) and urgent service calls
- Accurately document diagnostics, repairs and parts usage
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Support continuous improvement by identifying:
- Repeated failures
- Maintenance inefficiencies
For this role, you will need:
- 2-4 years of fleet maintenance experience across light/medium/heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Diesel, gasoline, propane and/or electric systems
- Ability to:
- Work independently with minimal supervisor and direction
- Diagnose root cause vs symptoms
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT compliance
- Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems
- Basic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365
- Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines*
*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the position.
Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:
- Journeyman electrician
- Experience with welding
- Gasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferred
- ASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred
