The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California's Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Job Purpose:

A material handler driver operates heavy machinery (such as forklifts, pallet jack, or box trucks) to transport, load, and organize inventory and raw materials. This role combines warehouse logistics, such as kitting parts and tracking inventory, with safe vehicle operations.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • This job requires the ability to load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant or work site. It also requires the ability to perform warehouse and shipping activities, or any combination of the following duties:
  • Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Packaging and unpacking, crating and uncrating, strapping, wrapping materials for shipping.
  • Functions as primary contact point for both, customer and internal management for all operational activities related to the shipping department
  • Works with customer and suppliers to provide accurate data and proactively follow up for shipping discrepancies resolution on a timely manner
  • Responsible for closing work orders and recording shipping orders on the computer system, printing and labeling items and shipping containers with the correct shipping documentation.
  • Complete shipping documentation (Domestic/International)
  • Reports to areasupervisor for all matters relating to conformance, inventory or materials reports as required.
  • May be assigned other material handler duties and responsibilities, and is expected to assist with receiving activities as required.
  • This position requires workingovertime when necessary
  • This position requires the employee to proactively practice safety warehouserules.
  • This position requires the employee to proactively lead and participate in 5S and warehouse continuous improvement activities.
  • This position requires the employee to complete all training assigned and required for the position in a timely manner.
  • Drive a box van/truck and forklift. Valid driver's license (Class C) and driving experience with a box truck required.


Education and Experience:



  • This position requires a minimum of 2-3 years of shipping experience, including experience with domestic and international shipping documentation.

Salary Range (annual): $49,920 - $54,080 ($24.00 - $26.00)Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
