This position is required to work on-site at UCLA's campus at least 3 days per week, with additional days as needed for operational purposes. Department Summary The Deans Department at the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies (Ed&IS) serves as the administrative hub responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, academic programs, faculty affairs, student services, and overall operations within the school. Committed to excellence in education, research, and community engagement, the department plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission and vision of Ed&IS. Position Summary Under the general direction of the School of Education & Information Studies (SE&IS) User Support Group Manager, the incumbent will provide desktop user support to faculty, staff and students. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting users with their workstation hardware, operating system and software including email, network stored files, and printing. Duties will include installing, updating and troubleshooting desktop hardware and software for all operating systems in use at the school. This position will be responsible for the security of the workstations and other devices connected to the network including security updates and other routine maintenance. This position will maintain a broad range of applications. Salary & Compensation *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
