Description

This role as a Nursing Analytics Administrative Analyst supports nursing quality, patient safety, and operational initiatives through administrative and analytical support within the Nursing Analytics department. Reporting to the Director of Nursing Analytics, this entry-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual interested in healthcare analytics and nursing operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and projects, supporting data collection and reporting, preparing presentations and performance summaries, and assisting with nursing governance and Magnet-related initiatives. The role also supports communication and dissemination of key nursing performance data across inpatient nursing teams. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with nursing leadership while developing foundational skills in healthcare analytics, reporting, and quality improvement. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, adaptable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience required
  • Coursework in a quantitative or analytical field preferred
  • Experience working in an acute healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with SPSS, Tableau, or similar data analytics/reporting tools preferred
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency required, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheets
  • Strong presentation development and word processing skills required
  • Ability to function effectively in a data analyst or analytics support role required
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
  • Ability to follow directions and adhere to established processes required
