American Greetings is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to develop expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, reporting, and digital testing while working alongside experienced analytics professionals. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Director, the Statistical Analyst will learn AG's data sources, business functions, and analytical tools to help solve business challenges through data-driven insights. The role includes supporting reporting processes, conducting statistical analyses, assisting with A/B testing initiatives, and collaborating with business partners to improve decision-making and customer experience. The ideal candidate has a degree in a quantitative field, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow in a business intelligence environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Gain a working knowledge of AG data sources, data structures, analytical tools, and business operations. * Execute standard reporting and analytical processes under the guidance of the Business Intelligence Director. * Assist with analytical projects and tasks to develop proficiency in data interpretation, statistical analysis, and reporting using tools such as SAS, Excel, and Visual Basic. * Support digital testing initiatives, including A/B test design, implementation, analysis, and reporting, to help optimize website performance and enhance the customer experience. * Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project documentation, methodologies, and process documentation. * Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Director and Senior/Master Statistical Analysts to communicate project objectives, status updates, and findings to internal stakeholders. * Analyze data and summarize findings to support business decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. * Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. | |
