Job Description:

The Coaching & Performance Enablement Senior Associate supports the execution of performance management and people development initiatives, with a primary focus on building a culture of coaching, continuous feedback, and practical manager enablement across the firm. This role is ideal for a strong writer, creative communicator, and hands-on change enablement professional who can translate strategy into clear, engaging, and actionable materials that help managers and employees adopt new behaviors.

This is not a traditional learning role, and a formal learning and development background is not required. The strongest candidates will bring creative design instincts, exceptional writing skills, comfort with emerging technology, and the ability to create compelling communications, newsletters, campaigns, video content, and manager resources in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Success requires a progress-over-perfection mindset, strong judgment, and the ability to work independently while staying highly connected to the team and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of performance management and people development initiatives, with a focus on coaching, continuous feedback, and manager effectiveness.

  • Help operationalize and evolve the firm's internal coaching/career coach program, including tools, resources, enablement materials, and adoption support.

  • Create high-quality, candidate- and employee-ready content, including newsletters, toolkits, presentations, talking points, FAQs, manager guides, SharePoint content, campaigns, and video-based communications.

  • Use strong writing, storytelling, and visual design skills to turn complex program concepts into clear, practical, and engaging materials that drive understanding and action.

  • Design and execute change management and communication plans, including messaging, sequencing, stakeholder alignment, reinforcement tactics, and rollout strategy.

  • Develop engaging communications campaigns that reinforce a culture of continuous feedback, coaching, and employee development.

  • Create or coordinate video content and other multimedia assets using tools such as Canva, Clipchamp, PowerPoint, and emerging AI-enabled technologies.

  • Manage and maintain SharePoint and internal platforms to ensure content is current, accessible, user-friendly, and aligned to program objectives.

  • Leverage AI tools and new technologies to improve speed, creativity, quality, and scalability of communications and enablement materials.

  • Coordinate across stakeholders to gather input, synthesize feedback, manage changing priorities, and ensure work is aligned to business needs.

  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment where priorities may shift and practical execution matters as much as strategy.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Increased adoption of coaching and continuous feedback practices across the firm.

  • Managers are equipped with practical, easy-to-use resources that help them coach, develop, and engage their teams.

  • Communications, newsletters, videos, campaigns, and enablement materials are clear, polished, creative, and action-oriented.

  • Stakeholders experience strong execution, proactive communication, and high attention to detail.

  • The team makes measurable progress toward scalable, AI-enabled approaches to performance management and people development.

  • Work is delivered with a progress-over-perfection mindset while maintaining quality, credibility, and brand alignment.

Skills and Capabilities:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills, with the ability to draft concise, compelling materials for multiple audiences.

  • Strong creative design instincts and an eye for visual communication, user experience, and practical content design.

  • Experience creating engaging communications materials such as newsletters, campaigns, presentations, toolkits, videos, FAQs, and manager resources.

  • Comfort using creative and communication tools such as Canva, Clipchamp, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint or similar platforms.

  • Interest in AI and emerging technology, with curiosity about how new tools can improve content development, communications, and scalable program delivery.

  • Strong change management capability, including the ability to drive behavior adoption and build reinforcement strategies.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, pivot as business needs change, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently within a collaborative team structure.

  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, organization, and follow-through.

  • Ability to bring a practical, continuous-improvement mindset to ambiguous or evolving work.

  • Experience supporting performance management, coaching, manager enablement, people development, or culture initiatives preferred.

  • Learning and development experience is welcome but not required.

  • Experience in a professional services environment is preferred; experience in a startup or fast-growth environment is a plus.

  • Experience creating newsletters, communication campaigns, video content, or other creative enablement materials is strongly preferred.
