AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the AI and HPC landscape. THE ROLE:

Provideoverall business oversightofcloud service provider (CSP) and data center (DC) capacityfor the Data Center GPU business. You will leadcluster acceptanceandbackstop capacitymanagement, drivecontract alignmentwith operational execution, andcoordinate across Finance, Business Development, and Customer Engineeringso plans, commitments, and outcomes stay synchronized.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall business oversight of CSP and DC capacity
    Maintain an integrated BU view of CSP and DCcapacity position: committed vs. in-flight vs. at risk; key dependencies; and implications for forecast and customer delivery.
  • Cluster acceptance management
    Define and operate acluster acceptancemodel (criteria, milestones, owners, status reporting, escalation) so readiness and acceptance issues arevisible earlyand resolved with clear accountability.
  • Backstop capacity management
    Establish and runbackstop capacitygovernance: utilization, changes, and exposure relative tofinancial planandcustomer/partner expectations; ensure execution is tracked on aregular cadence, not only during escalations.
  • Contract alignment
    Partner withFinanceandBusiness Developmentto aligncontracts and commercial termswithoperational realityfor capacity, acceptance, milestones, and related obligations-reducing gaps between what is agreed, what is built, and what is recognized or forecast.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Business Development, and Customer Engineering
    Act as the BU operational focal point connecting these functions: clarify ownership, drive cross-functional forums as needed, and deliver executive-ready status (risks, decisions, recommended actions).
  • Team building (phased): Hire and develop supporting roles as approved to scale reporting, analytics, and program coordination.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 12+ yearsinbusiness operations, program management, cloud/data center customer programs, or similar, with repeated cross-functional delivery involvingcustomersandfinancialoutcomes.
  • Strongstakeholder leadershipandstructured operating rhythm(cadence, metrics, escalation); excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfort operating at the intersection ofcapacity/deployment execution,commercial/contract context, andfinancial planning(you may partner with specialists but must drive coherence).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience withhyperscaler/CSPmodels,GPU/AI clusterdeployments, or large-scaledata centerprograms.
  • Familiarity withforecasting cycles(e.g., in-quarter and annual planning interfaces).
  • Priorpeople leadershipor sustainedmatrix/program leadership; credible path to building a small team.

LOCATION: Santa Clara, San Jose, Austin or remote in the US.
