Title: Director, Auto Finance Solutions,Vehicle Values

Location: Remote - USA

Reports to: VP Customer Solutions
Vacancy: This is a newly created position

The Role:

We're seeking a strategic and analytical leader to drive sustainable growth by delivering automotive data solutions that create measurable customer value, strengthen long-term client relationships. Champion excellence in solution delivery, partner across the business to accelerate revenue and retention, and elevate our market influence through expertise, innovation, and strategic engagement.

The Impact You Will Have in This Role:

As the Director Auto Finance Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in informing JD Power's strategic direction. Your insights will directly influence our growth strategy, product development, marketing positioning, and sales enablement. By embedding product knowledge and competitive intelligence into core business processes, you'll help sharpen our market edge and accelerate innovation.

What You'll Be Doing in This Role:

  • Supporting the Customer Success team in achieving the gross retention goals by
  • Meeting SLAs by customer segmentation level for Solution Delivery across our 600+ hundred accountsEnsure that we add value to our solutions each year to support annual pricing
  • Address any solution related drivers of attrition
  • Supporting the Sales team in achieving the new business goals by
  • Helping them to identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities
  • Helping them identify white space opportunities for selling-in existing products - this is especially true for the automotive data products
  • Developing new solutions that can be sold into existing accounts and enable us to add new clients.
  • Working with the Marketing team to help achieve our financial goals by:
  • Ensuring we have a 12-month campaign plan that supports both our gross retention and new business goals
  • Developing content for regular communication with our customer communities
  • Ensuring that our solutions are properly represented on the J.D. Power website
  • Working with the PR team to develop press releases and content for media outreach
  • Working with the Product team to help achieve our financial goals by:
    • Supporting New Product Development and Product enhancements
    • Articulating client needs for new solutions
    • Identifycompetitive challenges and opportunities

Qualifications of this Role:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
  • Extensive automotive finance experience industry preferred.
  • Background in automotive finance operations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Used Vehicle Values and Residual values preferred
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across business units
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments

This position has a starting salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 USD per year. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee's pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
