JoinadynamicgroupofElectricalPowersystemengineersresponsibleforthedesign,developmentandintegrationofPowersubsystemfortheworld'spremierland-basedcombatvehicleproducer.PositionTitle:PowerSystemDesignSeniorEngineerThePowersystemteamispartoftheSystemEngineeringgroupatGDLS.Ourmissionistoinvestigate,design,develop,andintegrateelectricalpowersubsystemcapabilitiesforthecurrentandnextgenerationofvehicleplatforms.Theteamworkswithinlargersystemsgroupwithresponsibilityandauthoritytodeliverdesignrequirements,performanalysis,guidethehardwareandsoftwaredesignteamswiththegoalofintegratingandtestingthematthesubsystemandvehiclelevel.

- CreationandintegrationofCAEmodelsintoapowersubsystemmodeltodynamicallyevaluatesystemperformanceforvariousexternalfactors(Drivecycles,tolerances,loadingprofiles,environmentalandroadloadconditionsetc.)
- Performacomponentandsystemsizinganalysisforvariousconditionsbasedoncustomerrequirements
- Understandingoffeatures/systemsrequirementsandtheabilitytotranslatetherequirementsintovalidationtestproceduresandusecases
- Providedirectionforteammembersincludingtechnologyroadmapsandmentorship.
- Approve/Developdocumentation,SSDD,SRS,CANICDsandotherartifactsforimplementationtothepowerhardwareproductionteam
- Participateininternalandcustomerdemonstrations

PositionRequirements:
- Bachelor'sorMaster'sinElectricalEngineering,ElectricalPowerSystemsorrelatedtechnicalfield
- 10yearsplusinarelatedroleisdesired.
- Experiencewithelectricalpowersystems(Powergeneration,powerdistribution,powermanagementandenergystorage)ofmilitaryorautomotivevehicles,includingspecifications,development,design,testing,integrationandtroubleshootingofvehicleelectricalpowersystemandtheirassociatedhardwarecomponentsisrequired.
- Strongknowledgewithhybridelectricalarchitecturesandsystemintegrationwithdifferentvoltages
- StrongbackgroundinmodelingandsimulationofElectricalsystems
