This position, which functions independently, is challenged to maintain research protocols with an extremely high degree of accuracy. While the incumbent must be highly organized and tolerant of isolation, this person must also have superb interpersonal skills to negotiate with physicians and staff to enroll patients and to comply with protocol rules and regulations. The incumbent must demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, motor/sensor, psychosocial, and safety appropriate to the adult and geriatric patient population served and meets standards of quality as measured by the unit/department age specific competency standards. Flexible schedule required and ability to travel on occasion to collaborating physician offices to meet with providers, staff and patients where they are receiving care.
