Part-Time Before and After School Site Program Manager (split-shift)
Right At School provides local school districts with before and after-school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students!

Right At School is currently hiring for the 2026-2027 school year beginning in August 2026.
We are seeking a part-time, split-shift Before and After School Site Program Manager within the Katy School District.
This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy your summer and secure a position for the fall before summer begins!
Part-Time Before and After School Site Program Manager (Split-Shift):
Schedule: (Must be able to work from Monday through Friday).
  1. Leonard Elementary- (AM/PM split-shift) 6:15 am- 8:20 am and return 3:15 pm-6:30 pm
  2. Mitzi Cross-(AM/PM split-shift) 6:15 am- 8:20 am and return 3:15 pm-6:30 pm
  3. Winborn Elementary- (PM only) 2:45 pm-6:30 pm
  4. Mortan Ranch Elementary- (AM/PM split-shift) - 6:15 am -7:50 am and return 3:00 pm-6:30 pm
  5. Ursula Stephens Elementary- (AM/PM split-shift) 6:15 am- 8:20 am and return 3:15 pm-6:30 pm
Pay Range: ($20-$24) per hour (based on education and experience)
Site Location: Located inside Katy School District Schools (listed above)
Required:
  • Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
  • One year of supervisor/management experience
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, management, or CDA. Will need verifiable documents showing education/certificates prior to the interview.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a childcare licensed program.
You'll drive the mission by:
* Safety & Joy: Exhibits role model qualities, ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to a team of staff members. Supports operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date. Outlines attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensures program tasks are completed effectively. Continual coaching, fostering respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly to maintain team cohesion, and productivity.
* Safety Assurance: Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants. Identify and mitigate any potential risks within the program environment.
* Effective Communication: Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building. Respond promptly to emails, text messages, and inquiries during program hours to ensure transparency and trust. Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
* Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs. Ensure "name to face" attendance procedures are completed per company policy.
* Daily Routine: Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
Ideal Candidates will have the following:
  • Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders
  • 70 clock hoursof training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare/school setting.
  • One year of experience managing/supervising employees
  • High school diploma or GED completed
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field
  • Communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
Requirements:
o Ability to meet state-specific requirements;
o 21+ years of age
o 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management
o At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare/school setting.
o One year of experience managing/supervising employees
o Proof of High School diploma/GED required
