BKF is seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead the Company's compensation, benefits, employee relations, and employment law compliance functions across a multi-state environment. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role is responsible for developing and administering HR programs that support competitive total rewards, regulatory compliance, and mitigate employment-related risk. The Director of Human Resources will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on compensation strategy, benefits design, employee relations, and legal exposure, ensuring BKF's policies and practices align with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. This role requires deep expertise in managing complex employee matters, overseeing legally compliant HR programs, and addressing potential claims and disputes with sound judgment and discretion. Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations. Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Travel to other BKF locations and client sites may be required.
