  • Data Quality Accountability: Assume ultimate responsibility for the completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all data within the Item Master.

  • Escalation Management: Act as the highest escalation point for complex data quality issues and policy exceptions.

  • Team Leadership: Manage Data Steward team members by providing guidance, training, and performance reviews to ensure high productivity and data quality.

  • Workflow Oversight: Define and oversee the daily workflow of the data management team to meet measurable results for processing items and changes.

  • Resource Allocation: Proactively reallocate team resources to meet shifting business requirements and prevent backlogs.

  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with the enterprise Master Data Manager to execute the broader governance vision and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  • KPI Monitoring: Define, monitor, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focusing on data quality, processing efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
