Location: 1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York New YorkJob Description KeyBanc Capital Markets is seeking a full-time investment banking Associate or Vice President to support the Asset Backed Securitization (ABS) Group in New York City. About the Job This individual will help to execute ABS transactions in a variety of consumer and commercial asset classes, including equipment leasing, venture debt, solar and consumer loans such as home improvement, recreational vehicles, marine and solar. This will include daily interactions with other bankers and clients, institutional investors, rating agencies, attorneys and accountants. Associates interact daily with other bankers and clients, institutional investors, rating agencies, attorneys and accountants. Associates help manage transactions and interface directly in the transaction process. They play a central role in coordinating the activities of all team members. In addition to the above, VPs help to lead our team efforts and spend time helping to originate new client relationships. * Work with ABS investment bankers and product partners on all aspects of term securitizations and other capital raising opportunities * Help the ABS group support credit providers at Key that lend to prospects/clients * Generate ideas about structural adjustments that further optimize transactions * Run collateral stratifications * Generate ideas and analytical materials in support of new client meetings * Create PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets and other materials for client, rating agency, investor or internal use * Maintain tracking spreadsheets on previously closed deals, monitor secondary trading trends and compile and maintain data on comparable structured finance transactions Required Qualifications * Preferred Associates have 2 + years of relevant full-time work experience * Preferred VPs have 5 + years of relevant full-time work experience * Highly motivated and talented individual with the desire for a career in Investment Banking or Capital Markets * Strong PowerPoint & Excel skills * Proven ability to succinctly express ideas * Demonstrated interest in corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, and financial markets * Strong academic track record with coursework completed in the areas of Economics, Accounting and Finance * Proven research skills * Strong team player with a positive "can-do" attitude and desire to be part of a close-knit group operating in an intensive and challenging work environment COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $165,000.00 - $345,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.Please click here for a list of benefits for which this position is eligible.
