As a Security Officer Controlled Entry in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This Access Control role combines a visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help reduce security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry points, and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorization for entry, and document visitor activity according to post orders and property guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify unusual activity, and report security-related concerns.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering questions, completing required reports, and maintaining awareness of security-related conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
