As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Herndon, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff through outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and support property rules and after-hours protocols while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with emergency and non-emergency situations such as disturbances, medical calls, alarms, and evacuations by following post orders and communicating with management and/or first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
