As a Security Officer Organic Market Patrols in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, team members, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report concerns to site contacts according to post instructions.
• Support access control and closing procedures by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorized access where required, and assisting with crowd and foot traffic management during busy periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
