Pay Rate: $20.59 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and support authorized entry procedures for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and assist with investigations involving policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
