Job Description

The Insider Threat Investigations & Analytics Team is responsible for the organization's insider threat program, driving a cross-functional strategy including detection, investigation, response, and mitigation of insider risks. The Manager, Insider Threat Services owns the execution and continuous improvement of insider risk detection capabilities, ensuring analytic efforts align with detection priorities established by the Insider Threat Director. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify systemic risk patterns and recommend preventive or mitigating controls to reduce insider threat exposure.

  • Lead and develop a team of service analysts, fostering analytic rigor, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure analytics operations comply with legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, including data minimization, access controls, and auditability.

  • Ensure detection capabilities align with Allstate's risk appetite while minimizing false positives

  • Maintain documentation for detection logic, thresholds, and analytic methodologies to support transparency and defensibility.

  • Continuously refine analytics based on investigation outcomes and emerging threat behaviors.

  • Establish standards for analytic quality, peer review, and operational excellence.

Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in insider threat programs, cybersecurity investigations, or risk analytics.

  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong knowledge of data analytics, behavioral monitoring, and investigation techniques.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $120,000 - 190,000 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
