Casual | Occupational Therapy

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with some Sunday shifts available. Shifts are 5-8 hours long. The minimum requirement to stay active is 1-2 shifts per quarter.

Available Shifts:

Flexible

Pay Range: $55.00 per hour

  2. Current Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota (or eligible for licensure)

The Difference You'll Make

  1. Provide high-quality occupational therapy services using approved treatment techniques and sound clinical judgment
  2. Deliver therapy services to patients across care settings, which may include skilled nursing, senior living, outpatient, or home care services at Saint Therese locations or partner sites
  3. Support patients in improving functional independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life
  4. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
  5. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
  6. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and professional practice standards
  7. Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making, professionalism, and integrity in patient care
  8. Provide compassionate, service-focused care to patients, families, and care partners
  9. Independently manage assigned caseload and responsibilities, including float assignments as needed
  10. Safely perform job duties that may include lifting, transferring, and assisting patients with mobility needs

Qualifications Required:

Education Required:

  1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  2. Current Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota (or eligible for licensure)

Experience Preferred:

  1. Minimum of one year of experience providing occupational therapy services
  2. Experience working in skilled nursing, senior living, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings
  3. Experience working with geriatric or senior populations

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  1. Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal regulations
  2. Experience working with seniors in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  3. Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision as a float staff
  4. Proven history of good judgment, integrity and consideration to others
  5. High level of commitment to compassionate customer service
  6. Ability to meet physical demands of the position including ability to turn, lift, and carry
