Scheduling Analyst - Oil & Gas (Temporary)

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $42-$44/hour

Duration: 12 Months

We are hiring experienced Scheduling Analysts for temporary positions in Houston, TX. This role supports inventory accuracy, product movement transactions, and month-end close activities for Renewables or Heavies business lines. Ideal candidates have oil & gas experience, strong SAP skills, and advanced Excel reporting experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify product movement and inventory transactions in SAP S/4
• Analyze inventory builds/draws and reconciliation reports
• Support schedulers, traders, accounting, and offshore teams
• Resolve transaction discrepancies, ticketing issues, and data errors
• Assist with month-end close, accruals, and inventory corrections
• Prepare reports and summaries for management review
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
• Troubleshoot nominations and inventory impacts in SAP
• Work with large data sets in Excel and ERP systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of experience in scheduling, inventory analysis, accounting support, or related role
• Oil & gas industry experience required
• SAP reporting and transaction experience preferred
• Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Backgrounds:

• Renewables: feedstocks, sustainable aviation fuel, renewable products
• Heavies: fuel oil, crude, feedstocks
