Company Description
We were early to the fight against Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance and we've been pushing the edge ever since. Our mission is to help government and enterprise organizations understand and manage commercial data risks, shape their digital signatures, and operate with confidence in an increasingly complex information landscape. We build and integrate advanced, tech-forward solutions to problems our customers often don't know they have - until it matters most. We move fast, think critically, and deliver where it counts. What's in it for you? We work hard and do fun things. You'll work on high-impact, technically challenging problems alongside a team that values teamwork over competition. Veilant offers a solid work-life balance and flexible remote work options. At Veilant, you'll work with the most talented software developers, systems engineers, and subject matter experts, building tools and systems that make a real difference. Job Description
Veilant is growing and we are hiring Technical Advisors to support the design, delivery, and continued evolution of our training programs. In this role, you will help deliver real-world instruction across Veilant's POLAR and M3 training series, supporting students from the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and cleared contractor community. This is not a traditional classroom instructor role. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, trainer, problem solver, and mission partner. You will help students understand emerging technologies, digital exposure risks, UTS threat vectors, and practical mitigation strategies they can apply immediately. You will work alongside mission-tested subject matter experts to deliver training, refine course material, support practical exercises, and help shape the future of Veilant's training portfolio. What You Will Do
- As a Technical Advisor on Veilant's training team, you will help customers build practical skills for operating in a UTS environment.
- You will deliver hands-on technical training focused on digital signature management, operational technology use, secure communications, device exposure, network risk, and other emerging threat areas.
- You will support Veilant's POLAR training series, including courses focused on risk management, digital signature awareness, operational applications, mission planning, and capstone exercises.
- You will support Veilant's M3 training modules, which may include topics such as secure travel communications, virtual machines, secure open source research, smart cameras, packet capture, artificial intelligence, mesh communications, and other customer-driven technical areas.
- You will help develop and update Programs of Instruction, practical exercises, student guides, instructor guides, technical labs, scenarios, and training support materials.
- You will partner with subject matter experts across cybersecurity, communications, intelligence, technical operations, electronic warfare, information technology, ISR, and related mission areas.
- You will advise students and customers on how to understand, assess, and reduce digital exposure across devices, applications, networks, communications, and operational environments.
- You will contribute to after-action reviews, course improvements, training updates, and lessons learned to make each delivery stronger than the last.
- You will support training events in both classroom and field environments, including CONUS and potential OCONUS travel.
- You will stay current on emerging technologies, adversary methods, commercial data risks, and evolving UTS trends that may impact customer missions.
What Makes This Role Different
- This role is built for someone who enjoys teaching, technology, mission impact, and constant learning.
- You will not just be reading from slides. You will help students connect the dots between technology, digital behavior, operational exposure, and mission risk. You will translate complex technical concepts into practical, understandable training that helps people make better decisions.
- Your work will directly support customers who operate in high stakes environments where digital exposure matters. The training you help deliver will shape how teams prepare, communicate, travel, operate, and protect themselves in the real world.
