Overview
Housekeeping Aide Full-Time | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Join our team and play an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and wellbeing of our residents! As a Housekeeping Aide, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout our facility.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas
- Prepare rooms by cleaning and disinfecting floors, furniture, beds, and bathrooms after resident discharge or transfer
- Assist with moving residents' personal belongings when needed
- Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste to prevent hazards and infection
- Follow infection control guidelines and maintain high personal hygiene standards
- Safely store cleaning supplies and hazardous materials
- Follow all safety procedures, including fire prevention and hazard awareness
Work Environment
- Regular interaction with residents, coworkers, and visitors
- Team-oriented setting with a focus on safety and respect
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Qualifications
- Qualifications
- Minimum age: 16 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous housekeeping, custodial, janitorial, or laundry experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level or higher
Important Notes
- Individuals under 18 are not permitted to operate certain equipment (e.g., compactors)
