Regional Delivery Lead

What this job involves - At JLL, we partner with the world's most prestigious organizations. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Delivery Lead to join us as a strategic leader responsible for strategically directing and ensuring the operational rigor of all project management activities and the development of project management professionals. The Regional Project Lead will be expected to cultivate an accountability-focused team environment that delivers superior client service, project execution and champions our Ascend Guiding Principles: unwavering accountability, unparalleled speed and responsiveness, proactive strategic thinking, seamless integration, and a commitment to data-driven insights. The position requires strong organizational skills, strategic judgment, and a future-forward mindset to plan, prioritize, and integrate a diverse workload of multiple, complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Development and Execution

  • Direct project management activities according to assigned local and regional assignments, ensuring unwavering adherence to all methodologies and governance standards.

  • Serve as the primary point of escalation, utilizing a proactive and integrated approach to quickly resolve all issues, risks, or concerns that threaten project delivery timelines.

  • Rigorously manage and ensure adherence to the financial plan, objectives, key performance indicators, fee allocation, and budget, exercising robust financial controllership.

  • Oversee and manage the execution of technical and facility projects through all phases (planning, design, bidding, permitting, construction management, and close-out), ensuring no stone is left unturned in the pursuit of quality.

  • Oversee capital improvement programs and guide design and construction processes at multiple sites, continually seeking to raise the bar and evolve our service delivery.

  • Develop and maintain strong, connected client relationships, ensuring effective communication and quick conflict resolution to mitigate seams in organizational flow.

Team Development

  • Assemble, onboard, and manage required teams (including regional variable project management teams), ensuring attentiveness to resource needs and addressing staffing without unnecessary delays.

  • Manage and support a team of project managers, ensuring consistent high performance and taking ownership of all team commitments and outcomes.

  • Provide supervision, leadership, mentorship, and coaching to team members, investing in our talent and tools to confidently lead the team into the future.

Reporting

  • Ensure complete and accurate reporting, including financial reporting and progress updates on a weekly and monthly basis, to leverage data to uncover meaningful insights and enable smarter decision-making.

Business Development

  • Drive strategic program improvement initiatives that align to client goals and objectives, proactively providing optionality and recommendations on efficiencies and investments.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing design and construction of multiple projects across a broad geography, demonstrating a history of operational rigor and accountability.

  • Experience leading and running numerous projects simultaneously, utilizing data-driven Insights to inform resource allocation and prioritization.

  • Expertise in delivering technical projects involving key building systems; Building Automation Systems (BMS), IoT deployments, Digital/Smart Buildings, Life Safety and Corporate Networks

  • A strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling, and process as they relate to corporate real estate, ensuring full cost conscious control.

  • Ability to lead individuals across a national team to deliver superior results in client service, promoting integration and eliminating unnecessary extra work.

  • Proactive and takes initiative, continually raising the bar and challenging the status quo.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision

  • Speed & responsiveness to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client's representatives, and team members, ensuring integration and clarity.

  • Demonstrated accountability, responsiveness, and ownership in all aspects of work.

  • PMP Certification, LEED Accreditation, or other specialty accreditation is an asset

Estimated compensation for this position:

170,000.00 - 215,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
